Miss Nina

Nina Lopez has been coming to the library since she was a little girl! She volunteered many times in Jr. High and began working in the children’s department in High School, making her a part of our staff for more than 6 years.

Nina continued working at the library through her college years. She helped with nearly every program we offered. She can play Chess and has patience abounding when it comes to rowdy children at after school programs!

Nina earned her Early Childhood Degree recently and enjoys being in charge of our Preschool Story Time each week.  Her ideas are fresh and the children enjoy her diversified themed itinerary that includes crafts, games, dancing, and learning about the weather outside each week.

Nina spends her mornings as a teacher at our local preschool and then joins our staff each afternoon. Our preschool program continues to grow with her connections to the young families in town. Check out her pages here to get some new ideas to use with your little ones.
